The Gary Jacob Memorial Western Rankings record every race in the Western United States* (see map below). Each race (eligible Nationally and per Region) awards the top six finishers 9-6-4-3-2-1 points respectively. Double points are awarded in the Western Rankings for events that pay $5,000 to win** or more. The double points bonus is based on the "spirit" that the highest paying purses will attract a larger field of cars representing top drivers and teams from multiple areas.
The Rankings are based upon on track performance during the 2007 season.
