ALEXANDRIA, Ark. (May 5) - After 13 years of racing different tracks and series, fans can find the weekend throttle in the orange 71A' GRT late model powered by PTS in Minden, LA, while he surrounds the banks of Beebe and Central Arkansas Speedway.

Allen currently holds first place in the AMP Series point chase and looks forward to his name being placed in the drawing at the end of the season for the 2008 Stacker give away by Blue Ridge Lift Gate Inc, www.blueridgeliftgate.com

Only 22 points separates' 1st-7th as the weekend unfolds with a serious point battle in all positions among the series.

Allen grew up watching his father race and it was at that time when he knew he wanted to follow the foot steps of his father Mr. 'Troy Tippen'. He looks forward to racing the full schedule and visiting with the promoters, fans & teams at new locations during this season with the series.

North Little Rock, Arkansas "Rocket" readies for AMP Double Header weekend

North Little Rock, Arkansas Driver; Terry Henson will pilot the H&N GRT/Rocket #U2 powered by Lanny's Flow Service of Pine Bluff Arkansas.

Terry will be making his rounds this weekend at Beebe Speedway on Friday and move to Central Arkansas on Saturday.

Henson's last performance with the AMP Series; happened in March at the battle of the states race' where he suffered from heavy damage to the rear end of his car causing him to return to the Natural State.

Henson wrapped up 4th place in the 2007 AMP Series points standings and heads into the weekend with laps turning laps in to solid results. His team plans to follow the full AMP Series schedule, chase for the 2008 Lift Gate Stacker Trailer by www.blueridgeliftgate.com along with the added bonus.

The team will compete at various regional and special events across the midsouth region this season.

Clay Fisher readies for Central Arkansas Double Header

This weekend Fisher will pilot the #99 Mastersbilt by Stuckey, powered by CMS Racing Super Late Model.

The weekend will get underway Friday evening with a $1,500 to win event at Beebe Speedway and the series plans to move Saturday to Central Arkansas Speedway in Plummerville, Arkansas. Clay competed Saturday in Harrisburg, where he finished 3rd in his heat, setting him to start 5th roll in the 9th position in the feature event. His night would not go as planned when a returning car to the track was a quick miss for Fisher taking a wild ride of the side of the track, he was credited for finishing a 15th place finish.

'The Maumelle Diamant' Heads to Central Arkansas with AMP Series

Thirty-three year old Shane Diamant will unload Friday night at Beebe Speedway in Central Arkansas and holds plans to attend Central Arkansas Speedway for the AMP Series double header weekend.

The Maumelle, Arkansas native finished 13th in the 2007 AMP Series standings and is well known throughout dirt ovals in his native state.

Shane will pilot the #76 Late Model on the series this season. Diamant has previously competed in the MARS and SUPR series and picked up many nights among the AMP Series last season.

Diamant stated' 'I like having a place close to race, and the low cost in travel by racing at home. I enjoy being able to race in front of my fan's that help fill the seats on race nights and many of the tracks we race at, I've been racing on for years and enjoy'. He went on to say, this years economy may play a roll in the factor of travel for many race teams, but he planned to be in the mixture of the fast competition that frequents the AMP field.

The team house two cars, both #76, one powered by Cabot Automotive and one powered by JRE Engines.

Broken Bow Oklahoma native Gary Scott Christian readies for Central Arkansas

Gary Scott Christian of Broken Bow Oklahoma heads to Central Arkansas this weekend to compete in the AMP Series Double Header.

Race fans and Promoters can expect to see the 58x GRT by Catman, powered by Keith Craft race engines, as the young hot shoe Gary Christian making his rounds on the banks of Beebe and Central Arkansas Speedway this weekend.

Saturday Gary Scott competed at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway where he picked up a twelfth place finish then moved the next evening to Chattem, La where he would add another top 10 finish to his resume for the 2008 season. Gary finished with a impressive fourteenth in the AMP Series 2007 point standings.

AMP Rookie Jeff Wells Jr. heads to Central Arkansas this weekend

19 year old Rookie Jeff Wells of Trumann, Arkansas, will be making is presence known in the red and yellow # 1S, Larry Shaw Late Model powered by Samuel Race Engines this weekend in the Central Arkansas area with the AMP Series.

Wells will kick off his weekend Friday at Beebe Speedway then move on Saturday to Central Arkansas Speedway in Plummerville. This will be the first trip back to Beebe only to be making rounds behind the wheel of a Dirt Late Model. During 2007 Wells, made a few short laps on Central Arkansas Speedway. After a test run, Jeff Wells purchased the car that would now be the same Late Model that holds him in first place in the Rookie of the Year point standings on the AMP Series.

Wells raced last week in Harrisburg where he would add a twelth place finish to his resume for the weekend.

Charging Charlie Cole readies for Central Arkansas Double Header weekend

Charlie Cole Motorsports of Marianna, Arkansas is ready for this weekends Double Header in Central, Arkansas.

Race fans can expect to see Charlie behind the wheel of the Orange #2 GRT Dirt Late Model powered by Charlie Cole Race Engines
Charlie will be back in action this Friday night in Central Arkansas at the Beebe Speedway, then move with the series to Plummerville, Ark, where the team will unload for another night of race action at the Central Arkansas Speedway.

Cole competed in Harrisburg last weekend, when the night started off to look promising with a second place finish in his heat race earning him the 8th spot on the feature starting grid. Cole's car was on a steady move early in the race when the car suffered mechanical failures where he would be credited for finishing 19th for the evening

Munns of Olive Branch, MS, Treks to AMP Double Header Weekend

David Munns make the trek to Central Arkansas to compete in the weekend of events.

Race fans can expect to see David in action behind the wheel of the Crocker Motorsports- Black and White # 95- Rocket chassis that will be powered by Triple R Performance Engines.

The team members will be competing for the first time this season with the AMP Series tour' however they are not new to the AMP family as they have been fans of the series weekend warriors since its inception. Munns and the Team are looking forward to the Friday night show at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas, and will wrap up their weekend by moving to the west on Saturday to Central Arkansas Speedway in Plummerville.

David competed in Harrisburg last week, his first night out in the car proved to be a successful test session as he was able to iron out the bugs in his rocket to help him prepare for the double header weekends competition.

The New Mexico Gentleman ready for AMP Series Weekend

Andy Hockenhull is set for action as the H & H race team will roll in to Central Arkansas this weekend for the AMP Series Double Header.

Race fans can expect to see Andy back in action behind the wheel of the Black and Purple, 95H- GRT- Dirt Late Model, powered by Hammer Race Engines.

Team Hockenhull is geared up to compete in a pair of events happening this weekend in the Central Arkansas area. The opener for the team this weekend will be held on the ¼ mile dirt oval at Beebe Speedway, in Beebe, Arkansas. The team will shift to the west on Saturday and unload at the Central Arkansas Speedway for another night of series action.

Justin Asplin of Birch Tree, MO, heads to AMP Weekend

Fans can expect to see Justin behind the wheel of his #zo7-GRT by Frye Dirt Late Model powered by Hatfield Race Engines.

Justin spends his time on the weekend traveling to races and meeting new promoters and fans. The team expects to find a few more fans this weekend when they roll in for their first visits to the ¼ mile speedways. Friday evening the team will be at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas and will move west on Saturday to unload at the Central Arkansas Speedway in Plummerville.

Justin competed in Harrisburg, Arkansas last weekend where he picked up his heat race and captured a 6th place feature finish.
