OK I WANT TO CLEAR THIS ALL UP FOR EVERYONE SO I DONT HAVE TO READ ANY MORE NEGATIVITY FROM ANY SMS DRIVERS.

I HAVE TALK TO THE TRACK PROMOTER AND ALSO JASON BANISTER HAS TALKED TO THE TRACK PROMOTER. WE HAVE GOT THE "OK" TO COME OVER THE WAY WE RAN LAST TIME. IM SORRY IF SOME OF YOU DONT LIKE IT BUT WE WANT TO COME OVER AND HAVE SOME FUN AND RACE WITH ALL OF YOU AT SMS. SO THIS IS OUR ONLY CHANCE FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR. I TOLD THE PROMOTER I WANT TO GET 5-10 CARS TOGETHER AND COME OVER AND HAVE FUN. HE IS BEING NICE ENOUGH TO WAVE THE DRIVER AND CAR REGISTRATION FOR US ALL AND I HAVE GOT ABOUT 7 CARS TOGETHER READY TO COME OVER AND RACE. WE WILL BE TEHRE SUNDAY.
AND SO YOU ALL KNOW ME AND JASON CAME THE FIRST TIME AND DIDNT CALL. WE SHOULD HAVE AND DIDNT BUT WE GOT IT ALL WORKED OUT AND GOT SCREWED AROUND A LITTLE BUT THE TRACK MADE UP FOR IT AND LET US COME BACK AT NO CHARGE AND RACE AGAIN THE NEXT WEEKEND. WE GOT PAID BOTH TIMES AND ALSO GOT POINTS BOTH TIMES SO WE WONT BE STARTING AT THE BACK OF THE HEAT RACES BUT THE OTHER 5 WILL. BUT I GUESS THAT WILL LET THEM HAVE SOME FUN AND TRY AND WORK THRU TRAFFIC AND MAKE THE MAIN.

THERE SHOULD BE A B-MAIN. IF NOT THEN THE TRACK WILL BE SCREWING SOME GUYS OVER. SAY 22 ARE SUPPOSE TO START THE MAIN AND YOU HAVE 28 CARS. WHAT DO YOU DO?? TELL THE OTHER 6 CARS TO GO HOME? NO WRONG ANSWER. U TRANSFER 12 OR 16 THRU THE HEATS AND EVERYONE ELSE GOES TO THE B-MAIN TO BATTLE FOR THE LAST 10 OR OF 6 SPOTS. MOST B-MAINS ARE 10-15 LAPS. I HOPE IF THERE ARE ENOUGH CARS FOR THIS SMS DOES SO AND DOESNT JUST SEND SOME PEOPLE HOME THAT WOULDNT BE HOW A RACING FORMAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE RUN.

ANYWAYS THANKS EVERYONE AND CANT WAIT TILL SUNDAY

no run 3 heats and all transfer to the main you got to look at time constraints kevin thats why they have heats and one main

TIME COSTRAINTS?? EVERY TIME IVE BEEN TO SMS THE RACES R DONE BY LIKE 9:30 OR SO. SO UR TELLING ME IF 28 CARS SHOW UP THEY WILL RUN ALL 28 IN THE MAIN EVENT?

Hell a couple of years ago on the Labor Day Race they didn't end until 1:00am and the years before they ended late but that was when they had about 40 or 50 streets and had 3 - 33 lap main events that race was an awesome race to watch.
But I am sure that it has got a little more strict than years ago.
I will be there to watch.

no we can lock our rear ends up. the only rules there letting us slide on r carbs and vac. our little no touch holly 4412 500 cfm carb isnt anything compaired to most of the quadrajets u guys r running. i dont know y ur so worryed about the rules. its been worked out with the promoter and tech guy so u shouldnt be worring about it and just going sunday to have run no matter what rules have been agreed on

Johnson, the problem you encountered the 1st time you came over was a misunderstanding more than any thing else.
The previous week a hobbystock had showed up to race and allowed to race nopoints/no money. He led most of the race and took the checked flag. As usual he was presented the trophy for the fans before going to post race tech where he was officially DQ. There was an arguement and threat of a fight over the trophy.

As a result most FS racers felt that any car that races in our class should meet the same rules we must adhere to or not race period.

When everyone realized you guy's were AS instead of HS most of the opposition went away.
There are 3 significant differences in our rules.
-carb
-cam/vacumn
-locked rear

If you can go to the trouble to lock your rearend you can swap a carb. If I remember correctly you guy's did pass the vacumn test when you were teched post race one of the times you were here before. There is no reason you can't meet our rules if you race here.
