Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by Jason_V on 09/17/06 at 1:34pm There is NO WAY an insurance company would allow this to happen. I just checked the calendar and it is not April 1st. |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by 81LOVELESS on 09/17/06 at 1:37pm let me guess a plastic crate for a seat and rope for belts lol yeah no way a insurance place would cover such a race |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by Jason_V on 09/17/06 at 1:43pm It doesn't say anything about a helmet either. No helmet, no roll cage, glass inside the door panels, where do I sign up? |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by 81LOVELESS on 09/17/06 at 1:54pm lol no doubt if they are going to do such a thing they need some real rules dont get me worng it is a good idea just the rules need to be worked out better |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by outlawaaron98 on 09/17/06 at 1:59pm this is an awesome idea but i think you better be looking at some rules of stock enduros of the past that glass and optional roll-cage is not gonna fly i guarantee it unless it is gonna be at bako and scott puts up a guarantee clause |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by jrtracing on 09/17/06 at 2:22pm Tom be sure to keep us posted I have a couple crew guys I would love to put in cheap cars and send them racing for a night. |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by hogracer3d on 09/17/06 at 2:49pm We raced at Pearsonville with no rollcage for several years in the road hawg division, but you had to have foam filled doors and a bar behind the seat like a derby car. |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by JOHNSON MOTORSPORTS 1 on 09/17/06 at 8:03pm with these rules u would see me buying a car and running it. i think this would be fun as hell and count me in. as long as its dangerous ill be there lol. let me know if yu get this going and if its at bako i know for sure ill be in that deal |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by BPinette on 09/18/06 at 10:31am that could be a blast but I concur that a little more safety should be mandated instead of optional. I realise the idea is to make it cheap and easy to tech for stock by limiting modifications. I would have a 4pt cage and drivers door bars if I did it but would not want to hurt someone else that spun in front of me with no driver protection. It's a lot of work to put into something that will get 1 nights abuse but life is precious. |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by crazy2020 on 09/18/06 at 12:42pm Just to let everyone know the speeds will not be that great . But we might leave the jump there |
Title: Re: ENDURO 4 cyl style Post by crazy2020 on 09/23/06 at 10:39am Well the first 2 cars were delivered to Chow yesterday. this is going to be a blast ( middle of OCT) |
