Title: cordless impact Post by Dietzsch_Racing25 on 04/27/09 at 1:47pm Who makes the best cordless impact wrench? I know to avoid the harbor freight special (first hand). Are there any other brands to avoid? Thanks, CD |

Title: Re: cordless impact Post by OcModified on 04/27/09 at 3:06pm Ingersoll Rand has a nice one over 300# torque :D |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by Kdawg33A on 04/27/09 at 4:09pm 300 #'s ??? Am I stupid for only torqueing my wheels to 100#'s? |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by OcModified on 04/27/09 at 4:19pm No just the more torque the better for removing them. |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by Kdawg33A on 04/27/09 at 5:19pm Ahh. I didn't think about that. Thanks OC Mod |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by XMODRACER on 04/27/09 at 7:28pm Dewalt 18volt ;) |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by hogracer3d on 04/27/09 at 7:39pm I have had a DeWalt 18v for over 3 years now and never let us down. I think they are over 400 ft lb off. I know the Snap On's are good though |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by Chad_E._Jeffreys on 04/27/09 at 10:14pm We used Snap- On for a couple of years and it was absolutely flawless. I'd have to bet the DeWalt is pretty strong too. Chad |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by JOHNSON MOTORSPORTS 99 on 04/27/09 at 11:36pm we use the craftsman i think its 18 volt or 19.2 something like that and it works great. |

Title: Re: cordless impact Post by hogracer3d on 04/29/09 at 8:56pm I bet the Snap On hurts the most when you go back to the hot pit area and it is gone--Lol |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by lmfan01 on 04/29/09 at 9:54pm Thats why you dont lay it down!!!!! Snap on is the best but wow it cost alot... J M O |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by hogracer3d on 04/29/09 at 10:07pm It has been my experience with cordless power tools, that the batteries fail long before the tool ever does. If someone made a bad a$$ line of batteries that lasted a couple of years and fit all makes of tools, they would make a fortune |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by AJ55 on 05/03/09 at 8:36am Snap on the best, 480 ft lbs of torque, pricey but the best |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by lmfan01 on 05/03/09 at 12:09pm Snap on also makes a drill , 3/8 impact and a sawzall that take the same battery. High dollar stuff but it works great... |
Title: Re: cordless impact Post by fromthegrandstands on 06/16/09 at 11:07pm any of you guys using the NEWER versions with the Lithium Ion batteries? SUPER LIGHT - SUPER POWER - and LONGER LASTING batteries by a LOT! |
