Title: soft dirtboss Post by hoosierdaddy on 06/28/09 at 3:46pm home track doesnt have a tire rule, but i run the med dirtboss, i seen on hoosier website that they have the soft tires on clearance. in auguest our track is having a 1000 to win show, how long will those soft tires last? |
Title: Re: soft dirtboss Post by W1CK3D R4C1NG on 06/28/09 at 4:10pm well i know that a new set of soft's on the back can be burned up in a 100 lap race... but i would have to guess that would really matter on the track conditions also... a harder track will burn them up faster than a soft muddy track... thats my experiance with them... Rich... |
Title: Re: soft dirtboss Post by hoosierdaddy on 06/28/09 at 4:29pm id probably only put them on for the 1000 to win show so its probably safe to say they would make it through the night? |

Title: Re: soft dirtboss Post by imracin68j on 06/28/09 at 9:00pm I think the med is a better tire. When it's hot it's soft. The soft compound doesn't hold up liek the med. |
Title: Re: soft dirtboss Post by csmith3d on 07/01/09 at 4:37pm I'd put softs everywhere but the right rear. It will help and they will be fine on any track dry or wet. |

Yea, we put one on the RR and won the 1st time on it. We liked it so much, we did it again the next race and it went from sticker to blister to pop in 10 laps. Track surface makes all the difference lol |

not saying this about you or yours just want to add that set up, driving style also make a diff. when the track is dry think that an egg is under your gas pedal nice and easy unless you like scrambled eggs LOL |
