Title: Double Pass Radiator Post by Dietzsch_Racing25 on 08/17/09 at 8:46am Popped my radiator this weekend so I need a new one. Are the double pass radiators worth the extra expense? CD |
Title: Re: Double Pass Radiator Post by MikeShepherd on 08/17/09 at 2:04pm Yes,worth every penny. We were having cooling problems switched to one and dropped about 20 degrees or more. |

Title: Re: Double Pass Radiator Post by imracin68j on 08/19/09 at 10:04pm You shouldn't be overheating at SMS. I run 220 at bak and 180 at SMS. The odds that you're not purging all the air out of your system is probably high or the radiator you have is just wore out. I've had motors overheat with double passes and motors run cool with regular radiators. There's usually a underlying issue. Also, make sure you clean that thing weekly. All the dust that coats the fins has a big effect to cooling. b |
