Just so everybody knows.... The roof on your hobby stock must be STOCK for your car as per bakersfield speedway rules .... NO home made or after market roofs will be allowed

so you can build an aluminum body, and put a nose piece off of monte carlo on chevy nova, and run a floater rear end in a hobby... but you cant build your own roof lol

hahahaha !!! I kinda agree with ya Robby...... Fabricated aluminum bodies on "hobby stocks"..... come on, give me a break. These cars are slowing moving away from stock or even stock appearing. They should be "stock, stock, stock." Oh-well !! it has happened to some other classes, so I guess "why not this one???".............

Come we dont want a bunch of Super Streets laying around rusting up, Might as well run them as Bakersfield Hobby's. Maybe next year we can have decking, a spoiler, and jacks that way it would not be so much work to make the switch! ;D
At least my Monte Carlo nose piece goes on a Monte Carlo. Although the Novas look much better with the Noses than with out, and If I had a nova I would probably have one on it!

Robby you are the biggest CRY BABY on here and u dont even race in this class so y do u worry about what the rules are and what they can and cant do nobody wants to hear what ur going to COMPLAIN about

so did i miss something on this subject? are the hobby's allowed to make tops now? saw a car with a fabbed top last night and i just want to know so i get enough material. thanks

21 hobbies opening night???
maybe they have gone too far with the rules.
fabbed bodies, 3200#, ect.
put dirt bozz's on them. 20th century ss are back.
then put hoops in the americans and allow novas, and it will be the hobby class of 10 years ago with 35-40 cars. jmo

it wasnt the rules that kept me away last night i just didnt get off my lazy a$$ and work on the car lol and i think a lot of people did not show up because of the rain.

i agree, thats most of it im sure. heck, thats why we didnt come.
but i really didnt expect to do much with the car we were bringin anyway. its a 3600# camaro, with 2 seasons on the motor and alot of hard racin. i was really just goin for the wheel time.

It was a good thing you did not show up. It was a HORRIBLE TRACK. There were not ruts in the corners they were mtns. I think the Grand Canyon would have been Jealous! JMO.

fabbed bodys for bako hobbys have been around for years....the only thing that changed is the material they are made out of.....and remember....just because its allowed doesnt mean you have to use it

ya, everybody blames the rain. im sure that it didnt help at all, but its been pretty rough the last few times ive run there. never thought id say it, but for a regular saturday night race, victorville is way above bako these days.

i give scott props for getting on the grader to make it better. i cant remember the last time that i have seen bako do that keep up the 100% effort scott see you all on the track at the next hobby race :)
