Oval Motorsports has announced a 2010 schedule. They will be running on Sunday, beginning July 18th.

They have created a new, temporary website for the Speedway. They are in the process of getting the old website transferred over.

For now, the website can be found at www.racemerced.com.

The schedule is posted.

July 18th....

Although they are all Sunday shows.. :-[ was hoping for a Friday

With the exception of the 28th being a Wednesday....

i think its a great idea. with no other tracks running, the car counts should be good, depending on the time frame. a 4pm start would get the races over by 8pm and get people home. i would be much better off going to work pooped on monday, rather than trying to get off way early on fridays. jmo.

i work sundays 5-9pm so im out. guess ill just have to stick to chow. i was really hoping for fridays also i was looking forward to racing my home track again. o well

I know for most people Sunday is probly easier then trying to get out of work on Friday early..... But I see it as....

Sunday Race = Day or Afternoon Race = 105 degrees in central valley = Sweating my b@lls off 8-)

Sunday Racing: I like it. Hard to get off from work on Friday's so i'm all for the Sunday thing. I much rather go to work Monday pooped as long as I got another race in. It will deffinitely be HOT, HOT, HOT.
