Perris Auto Speedway Releases Full 2011 Schedule!

(Perris, CA, January 7, 2011) Perris Auto Speedway, the West Coast's premiere dirt track, released the full 2011 schedule on Friday afternoon. The mouth-watering schedule will offer something for everyone and will be headlined by eight shows featuring the popular USAC/CRA Sprint Cars. The eight-year old series will open The PAS 2011 season on Saturday March 12th with annual running of the Sokola Shootout and will close the season with the USAC National Sprint Car Series at the 16th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals on November 3rd, 4th and 5th. Other special nights on the USAC/CRA portion of the schedule will include the Salute to Indy on May 28th, the City of Perris Centennial Celebration featuring the Firecracker 30 & Sky Concert on July 2nd, the 16th Annual Kindoll Classic on July 30th, the 4th Annual Glenn Howard Memorial on September 24th and the Annual Southern California Fair race on October 8th.

The California Lightning Sprint Cars, a series that has produced several top USAC/CRA stars including 3-time defending USAC/CRA champion Mike Spencer, "Dynamite" David Cardey and Greg Bragg to name just a few, will be the companion class for their 410 brethren at seven of the eight USAC/CRA shows in 2011.

The PASSCAR Stock Car Series will have eight different dates in 2011 beginning with their season opener on March 19th and culminating with the annual Champion's Night on October 29th. Once again, the track will have four resident PASSCAR classes. The Super Stocks, Street Stocks, Modifieds and the American Factory Stocks. The CDCRA Dwarf Cars will join the PASSCAR gang on four separate occasions. The April 16th, July 23rd and August 27th PASSCAR shows will all have a "Special Event" added on that will be announced at a later date.

Back by popular demand will be The PAS Night of Destruction. In fact, it is so popular it will now be a series of four separate nights in 2011. The first will be on March 26th with a Rollover Contest, Demo Cross and Fresh Car Demolition Derby. The second Night of Destruction will be on April 30th and will include Figure 8 Trailer Racing, Rollover Contest and the Iron Man Outlaw Demolition Derby. Another Fresh Car Demolition Derby, accompanied by a Rollover Contest and Demo Cross will comprise Night of Destruction #3 on June 26th. The fourth and final Night of Destruction will be on September 9th and will feature another crazy Figure 8 Trailer Race, Outlaw Iron Man Demolition Derby and a Rollover Contest.

June 4th, July 16th and August 13th are all shows to be determined and will be announced at a later date.

As always, The PAS will continue raising money for the American Cancer Society's Relief for life with fund raisers and giveaways on March 12th, April 2nd, April 30th and May 21st.

You got them for last year, so you should be able to them for this year, unless something has changed.

It's just that last year they didn't enforce the wcss rules so I was just wondering if they were still gonna be apart of it in 2011

there is NO points for WCSS

the only points series is the Cal SS All-Star Shootout..and yes there will be some

The WCSS vs Perris rules were the same. PAS didn't enforce the tire rule because we all had the other tires and very few cars travel to Perris.

So the dirt bozz will still be a legal tire? By the way 49 did you get your car fixed? I watched the video on youtube

Along with alot of broken parts, the left side frame is bent.
We are hoping to be able to straighten it. If all goes well, planning on racing in May.
