Looking For basic set up/starting point for Nova!
I got all the rear suspension all torn out and im going to try and use as much as my spare pavement parts as possible. Ive got tons of good stuff. Im going to get the suggestions as close as i can with what i have. Give me idea on these things. We got the front end already sorted out. Its a 3/8 mile with a nice bank
1. Rear leaf springs ( weights)
2. Lowering blocks ( how tall and what side to put them on)
3. Shocks
4.Can i use the stock shackles?

Shims are angled lowering blocks that put more pinion angle in your reared, lowering block size depends on ride heights, and whether your car is straight or not, but just because it's a nova doesn't mean you'll have the same lowering blocks as another guy with a nova, as far as lowering block split your gonna have to set it by cross on scales

Do you guys do anything fancy to where the shackles come in contact with the rubber bushings on the leafs? ( im sure alot of mud gets thrown at that area) Washers ? Spacers?
