I think the road hugger tires are the gold standard. I could be wrong but I think thats the tire of choice.

Seems like they quit production on them (Road Huggers) or something. I know we had about 20 in then shop at the end of last year, and I think it was because they weren't going to make them anymore, so they bought all they could find.

When we had our Factory Stock at SMS we ran the Cooper Cobra, which held up real well, and we didnt have any problems with them at all. There are a few at SMS that do run that tire...Don

When required to run "street" tires by the track rules, must tracks specify 215/225/235-70x15

We use the Cooper Cobra and the Hercules hp 4000

cooper cobra gt 225/70/r15 100 a each smith and son
