Title: super street cage Post by hoosierdaddy on 04/19/11 at 1:26pm Whats everyone opinions on an offset or perimeter cage? |
Title: Re: super street cage Post by Chad_E._Jeffreys on 04/19/11 at 8:14pm The advantages of the offset is that you won't drag the right side frame rail when you roll hard in the corner. Too many times I think the perimeter chassis got in the way of getting the full effects of our setup. JMO, Chad |
Title: Re: super street cage Post by over4t on 04/19/11 at 8:24pm I agreewith Chad, plus a lot easier to get your weight where you want it. Maybe fifteen years ago a builder in, I think, Indiana, built cages that looked like those in a top fueler. Strong as all get out but the tech guys outlawed them pretty quickly. Some tracks still call for perimeter cages so be careful Steve. |
