The final appearance of the Hoosier Tire California 360 Sprint Car Civil War Series of the 2011 season is tomorrow night at the Wine Country's Center of Speed, Petaluma Speedway. Point leader Andy Forsberg attempts to make it two in a row and 6 wins in his last 12 tries at the Petaluma 3/8ths. See the best 360 Sprint Car racers in the state, including Steven Tiner, Herman Klein, Alissa Geving, Geoff Ensign and Bradley Terrell all do battle on one of the most hooked up tracks in the country!

Also on hand, does a dominating performance carry over from one weekend to the other? Morgan Hill's Jeff Decker attempts to prove it does coming off a huge win last race and a full field of Late Models are expected tomorrow night.

Dirt Modified action couldn't have been closer than last week, when two laps was all that separated Joel Myers from victory lane. Point leader and 4 time and defending track champion Michael Paul, Jr. needed that long to make the pass on lap 23 of 25 for the lead that finally stuck, propelling him to the top of the point standings yet again. He continues his quest for five track championships in a row tomorrow night.

Gates open around 4:30pm, racing around 5:30.

Last night was the first night I've been out to the track in a couple months. The civil war show was decent for the most part and made it worth watching when Golbic put the move on Tiner in lap traffic there in the end. Track was kind of weird all night with that big dry spot in turn two, and the nasty hole exiting four.

the mods and lates were,,,, eh... typical mod and late show at petaluma.
