Title: Distributor builder in Bakersfield? Post by ka_jd7and1 on 04/02/12 at 8:05pm I have a couple old distributors that I'm sure could use a rebuild before they go back into a car... does anybody around town do distributor builds/rebuilds? Thanks. |

Post by sj_valley_dave on 04/07/12 at 5:53pm As long as the distributor machine can spin the distributor to 3500 rpm you are good...Doesn't take a "race" guy to set one up...You can see on the scope where the curve comes in, etc...My opinion is to lock it out..we're not idling in a parking lot getting groceries! LOL We have not ran a curve in 15 years... |
