Title: cheapest 9" disk brakes
Post by Ryan D. on 10/07/12 at 5:19pm

Im looking for the cheapest way to convert a 9" to disk brakes. I know speedway and some other guys sell kits in the 250.00 range. But Im hoping to find something alot cheaper than that.

What is the bolt pattern?  I have a pair of hats and rotors from a cup car. 5x5

Head to the junk yards and start looking for older Lincolns and Merc's and some of the full size Ford sedans.

Thanks duane. Im trying to avoid the junkyard as much as possible, I always get bite by bugs when I go the there. I may have to DEET it up and head out that way.

And Tim Ill check the bolt pattern and let you know.

Of course I may just stay old school and them the drums on there.
