Ive always just Pop riveted it together. Im thinking bolts and fender washers this time. How do you do it????

I have always used 1/4" bolts with wide washers to put them together, it holds tighter than rivets and it takes some abuse before it even gets ripped apart. goodluck!

We pop rivet them... but I use a fender washer on both sides of the rivet so the rivet is pulling again the metal and not the plastic. pulls it nice and tight and it much stronger that way!

I use tri fold pop rivets with no washers, they pull out easier usually without tearing the plasic, after one comes out a few times then it is time for bolts and washers. After all usable drilling space is taken, use 3 inch flat strap to attach the sides together.
