Fans can participate for free in The PAS 2013 Fantasy League at: http://www.shorttrackin.com/. There are separate divisions for the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars and the Amsoil OilTwins.com PASSCAR classes of the LoanMart Street Stocks, Pick-A-Part American Factory Stocks and the Modifieds. Players can compete in as many divisions as they like. The winner of the USAC/CRA game will win a 20-lap ($240.00 value) driving session on the famous PAS half-mile clay oval courtesy of the Sprint Car Driving Experience. The winner of the Modified group will take receive a $50.00 gift certificate for Amsoil products from The Oil Twins. More prizes will be announced as they come in.

Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of October’s Southern California Fair), approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway and go three miles east to the fairgrounds.

Got word after I sent out the press release that three drivers were disqualified. Drivers and reasons are listed below.

James Pierce disqualified for losing a muffler

Brian Harrell disqualified for illegal carburetor

Johnny Malcolm disqualified for a team member shoving another team into an official who was knocked to the ground. Additional penalties may occur for the incident.

MALCOLM GETS TURKEY BOWL 4TH PLACE FINISH BACK

PERRIS, CA (November 14, 2013) After review, Perris Auto Speedway officials have reversed the initial decision to disqualify Riverside driver Johnny Malcolm in last Saturday’s LoanMart Street Stock Turkey Bowl and have given back his fourth place finish. The decision to disqualify Malcolm came after one of his crew members became involved in a scuffle after the race that resulted in a PASSCAR official being knocked to the ground.

“After a long investigation, the 07x has been given its fourth place position back in the finish of the 2013 Turkey Bowl,” Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian said in a statement released on Wednesday afternoon. “Under rule 3 of the general rules of the PASSCAR rule book, Dino Napier has been suspended from the Perris Auto Speedway for the 2014 racing season for his actions that led to a track official being knocked to the ground. The official is fine but his (Napier’s) actions have also led to the 07x team being placed on probation for the 2014 racing season.”
