Firstly he was asking if the management is ready cuz it's always a big event. Secondly we are not going to be able to make it this year for a variety of reasons-- mom had foot surgery, money is always tight, and we were never able to procure a vehicle to tow up and over the mountain. Also we're doing some extra stuff to the car in preparation for the final stretch of the season. I was thinking about going just to spectate but upon hearing we weren't racing the fiancé has twisted my arm in to staying home and BBQing some of my special ribs. Good luck to everyone this upcoming Labor Day. |

First it has nothing to do with faith in the management, big shows are always tough. The one thing Rubin has going is he doesn't have to deal with a curfew. Aaron pretty well explained our reason for not going, wife's surgery has been an issue. |

Title: Re: Santa Maria Speedway results---8/16 Post by RAYO on 08/29/14 at 9:09pm No curfew but it sure can get cold even with a warm day to start. Weather plays havoc with the tracks condition. With six classes it will be a long day and night with with a chance for some "B" mains. But for the cash being offered, it should make for some exciting racing. |
