I realize the racing season goes almost like a baseball game and right now we are in the infamous 7th inning stretch. Hot, middle of summer, vacations, all kinds of make it easy to leave the race car at home. This is the time we need, as a group, to really make an effort and step up and really show a united front and help support our series. We have ran 2 races at SMS this year and the car counts have been 18 and 16. With this kind of car counts we are tying Sandies hands behind her back when it comes to negotiating with Swindell next year. We dangle 22-24 car count numbers in front of the promoters and we, as a group are not delivering to at least SMS. At the beginning of the year the SMS guys came over on a regular basis and supported us at Bako and now it is our turn to return the car counts to SMS. We need to finish out the E v W point series with a great car count to help keep up the big mo for next year. Don't forget 3 out of the last 4 series points races are at SMS. Let's give em our East support!!
