Why are the Amercan Stocks being removed again from the schedule!!!

     1. Lost two races due to the rain, which were never  made up.

      2. American Stock Nationals, still waiting for the new date.

       3. 9/02/2006 race has been taken off the schedule for what reason.

Guys we are expecting alot of Late Models like 60 to 80 for that event. If it was a 2 day show there would be no problem but seing as there is going to be D,C,B and non-qualifiers mains there is just no time. Sorry.

so why can't you cancel the minis i don't believe they have had any cancelations!!!!!  it just does seem fair to the american drivers to be screwed out of another race

American Stocks have been added to the September 16th race date. You all can stop sending my hate mail now. lol    Scott

You would never catch them taking Hobby Stock or any other class off the schedule. They just think they can take advantage of poor American Stock when American Stock is the only class to go out there for!

Just for the record American Stocks are my favorite division. American stocks are where Ivan and myself came from. So don't think that we are screwing you guys over adjustments have to be made. This schedule was made in Nov or Dec. of 05' last time I checked Scott could not predict the future. If anyone goes to SMS hope you have a good race and hand them their a$$e$.

I will chime in on this. I know the American Stock drivers are bent out of shape on this. I will say that if a track loses money you have no track, correct? This race with schraeder will be expensive for the track to have yet is has the potential of being a real moneymaker. A nextel cup show at our track is exciting. With a fairly fat car count this show needs to be properly run for it to be succesful. There will be many new folks in the house that will either spread the good word after this show or poo-poo the track. This is a chance to impress some people. If you have a long show that hit's the state mandated curfew and all the racing is not finished folks will be bent! This dropping of one class this race I think is a sacrifice for the overall good of the weekend.
Bakersfield Speedway in my view has done way more right than wrong in 06. We have it good here. Remember the troubles of Hanford and SMS before showing to much displeasure.  I know if I raced in the class i would be bent to but also we need a track that can make deposits in the bank more than withdrawels.
