Skaggs, Womack, Combs & Lewis Walk off with Last Points Night Wins.
OUTLAW MOTOR SPEEDWAY, 8 Miles South of Muskogee, Oklahoma & 11 Miles North of I-40 on HWY 69 - Bixby's Greg Skaggs overtook points leader Muskogee's Gary Andrews on lap four and never looked back as he jetted out to a half a lap lead to pick up his third Modified A-Feature and on the final points night of the 2006 season.
Andrews who already had his fourth consecutive Modified Points Championship sewed up last week pulled in a distant second as Tahlequah's Kreg Dobson returned for third.
Muskogee's Mike "Fuzzy"Withrow finished second to Andrews for the third time in four years and Muskogee's Tate Cole moved to third in points as Bixby's Kevin Lacy moved up to fourth on the final points night.
Haskell's Danny Womack stole his sixth Economy Modified A-Feature of the season after outrunning Muskogee's David Howell and Glenpool's Jake "the Snake" Kelley.
Kelley wrapped up his first career points championship last week but was all smiles on this night as he was just out for a evening drive.
The biggest change in the points was Muskogee's Chuck Bumgarner who leapedfrogged to second ahead of Howell and David Whittle.
Muskogee's Bob Lewis put an exclamation point on his Pure Stock points championship run after he stole the lead on lap seven from Fort Gibson's Terry Cook for his sixth A-Feature win of the 2006 season. Bobby Jack Potts pulled in second ahead of Cook in the feature race.
Lewis was only in danger of not winning the points championship if he failed to make the feature event then Andy Simmons would have a shot of taking home the title.
Fort Gibson's Lynn Combs pulled off a feat that he has not done since 2005, win a feature event. Last season's Pure Stock Points Champion Combs had his hands full all season with the advancement to the next division but all paid off after he snuck pas points leader Dale Richardson on lap 10 for his first career Hobby Stock A-Feature win.
Richardson pulled in second but has the last laugh after he completed he trek for his first career Hobby Stock points championship. Randy Moses II moved back into second in the final points standings as Ray Hutcherson took third. Combs moved himself into fourth spot with the win.
