I havn't talked to Tina. But if she was gloating in any way, that is wrong. I know she holds some resentment from the last race towards you for slamming her into the wall but that does not excuse any shiiiit talk. As far as you winning the next race, I guess you have as good of a chance as any one. But my money is on Tina or Mike.

You can't honestly think I slammed her into the wall. She darn near stopped in the middle of 3-4. I locked up the brakes and was very lucky I didn't sustain major damage. Later in the race when she pulled up beside me under yellow, I couldn't beleive she was still on the track. I thought she broke something.

good one   lol   but with those upper a-arm mounts moved, I don't doubt you were running low air pressure.

wow. im about to go to bed. i honestly cant believe the sh!t i have been reading on here. this thread has gotten out of hand. chad i think u have issues. im sorry yeah ur my cousin but i can not and will not tollerate u talking to my mother that way. so if u could leave ur comments to urself. i dont know everything about cars but when i can help someone at the track i do if im not working on my car. i have loaned out my spare axles more than once this year. hell i even helps them change the axles so they would be in the main. and saterday u needed some hose becuase ur dip stick was leaking and i had hose in the trailor and i let ur dad cut the little bit he needed to fix the oil leak on ur car. we all race for fun im sorry that u got DQed but u cant change it. and in my opinion ur dad was way out of line throwing tools and stuff at the tech pad. he could have hit someone and really hurt them. but he didnt seem to care becuase he was still cussing and yelling the whole time till he stormed off. and i was talking good about u today how i thought u handled it all well when u were pleaing with mike not to DQ u, u were talking u didnt yell raise ur voice or anything but after what u have wrote on here today i have lost some respect for u. im sorry that u feel the way u do but DO NOT TALK BAD ABOUT MY MOTHER OR FAMILY.
P.S. UR NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN WIN THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT CAN WIN ON ANY GIVEN NIGHT SUCH AS MIKE,ERIC,TINA,JACKY,TOM,CLYDE,HELL I DONT KNOW MAYBE EVEN ME. SO U SHOULD PUT UR HEAD ON ICE SO THE SWELLING CAN GO DOWN.

so it sounds like its not just lower end racers that are upset at the way things are being handled at the track, but also the front runners as well....congrats to mike j for clinching the championship.....congrats to kevin as well for the win on sat....chad sorry about the dq.....one thing i think that needs to be rethought  for next year is the cause and collect rule....all its done is let people get away with the bump and spin job in all classes....hopefully thats rethought for next year....

The rule is like this, if we make the rule 30 psi at the start of the race then we might as well ok bleeders on the tires. With a small file and a razor blade you can make a pretty effective bleeder out of a standard valve stem. This would put a clear advantage to the people running Beedlocks. As they can handel the lower air pressure. If you have a problem with the rule put a tube in it they are only $7.50 cheap insurance. I don't get a big head and all happy having to DQ someone in fact just the oppisite. It makes me sick, real sick. The rule will stand and if I had to do it again I would make beadlocks (tube mandatory).

I tried to put a tube in a beadlock the year before last. No matter what the tube would get cut. The problem is most beadlocks were not made for street tires and they definately were not made to hold 30 psi. With these radials that we run, I wouldnt think you would run less than 25 psi in the RR anyway. In my expirience, the tires want to be AIRED UP. But what do I know.
also the rule says 30 psi at all times. Is 31 illegal. It just irritates me that there are cars out there with the upper control arm mounts moved and nothing is being done about it, and I get DQ for a flat tire. If mine or Mike's control arm mounts were moved we would hear about it. Worst part is now without money from the track I really can't afford to race this weekend. ZI'm trying to round up $75 for pit pass and gas.

Tim.... I won't repeat what Chads reply was, but it was Randall that changed the RR rim rule to beadlock with 30# pressure. The issue started with the Big O tires having  a problem slipping off the rim. This was Randalls solution.

My opinion is this beadlock is a unnesssary expense for a economy class, for a good tire now that works fine on a regular rim.

First of all I would like to say it's really B.S. that you guys keep bringing up the past, God let it go!!!  That rule wasn't written by me and you can tell that by how stupid it is!!!  All of you " CAN NOT LET THE PAST GO" girls can kiss my hairy ass.  The rule is stupid but you agreed to it when you showed up to race, so FREAKIN LIVE WITH IT !!!!  With that said leave me out of your drama and leave me alone, I haven't raddled any of your cage in some time.    Tim, get your facts straight before you open your mouth, it just makes you look like a trouble maker, fun for you I,m sure but not for me!!!  I mean what I said guys, leave me out!!!!  Chad

first of i understand that hobbies arent as expensive as supers...but they sure as hell arent an "economy" class....we havent ran a beadlock and when that track gets super slick...if we hit one of those ruts the wrong way ....off comes the tire...its happened like 2 or 3 times so me personally ...i think the bead lock does help

Hey, I think we have all gotton bit by some BS rule. But I think you can throw that political crap out the window. I've supported the track in more ways than I can count and my cars have been DQ'd more than I care to count and on some pretty weak shiiit, sorry. Heck look at what they have done to their own family. Randy Schwietzer has been DQ'd more times than anybody in the history of the Speedway. Justin Schwietzer once came off the track in 5th but got DQ'd for not going to tech. He didn't know the score keepers penalized a couple of cars for jumping the start on the last yellow and he pits right next to the tech area. Bottom line, some of us like to straddle the line on whats legal and whats not. I'm sure it will happen to us again, I just hope I handle it with a little more dignity than I have in the past (probably not, ha ha) or at least with more dignity than Chad has handled it with. Wow

Should I have asked to buy them a new air pressure guage???
It's all good now. I'm gonna take my own advice and quit whining and have fun. Sometimes it takes a couple days to calm down.
I understand that people wanting me to fail is just something that comes with the territory. It is something that you have been through, Scott and Brad have been through and countless others have been through. It's just something I have to learn to deal with.
You were pressing the rule with the weight deal earlier in the year.  You were pressing the rule with the starter. If you had to ask Mike about the rockers you probly thought they could be illegal. All things you had control over.
I was legal when I went out on the track, I can't control everything  that happens on the track.

Does anybody know, what the hobbie tire rules are for the nationals? I want to bring my Hobbie stock that I  run at stockton 99, but all I have are asphalt tires.

the max is a 15x8 but i think they allow you to run any street tread tire (not off road or snow tires) but bakersfield speedways regular points race tire is the kuhmo touring tire sizes 215, 225, 235 70r 15

I wonder if they would let me cut my asphalt tires. Its been a long expensive season. Dirt tires arent in the budget. There are about 4-5 cars that would like to try the dirt. What is the weight rule at the nationals?

Darrell,
I believe that the rules are the same as the Hobby Stock Twin 50's.
Any 8" street legal tire, 3400lbs weight limit at anytime with driver. one 2 brl or one 4 brl carb.

The flyer is on
www.bakersfieldspeedway.com
it has the rules for the Twin 50's and I think they are the same for the Nationals.
