Sigh... I didn't want to taint the beautiful wrestling forum..  I really was hoping this issue would just go away but anyway, here ya go.

I had a GT in one night about 5 years ago at Bak to try at the Bud Nationals. They looked at it and oked it.  The were looking for ratchets and at that time "They didnt know what they were looking at"  The rule actually said no Detroit lockers I beleive at the time as the GT got teched and passed so....?

Since you opened the doors, I wanted to answer a question you mentioned in your post of why would the officals let you run your direct drive with a stock clutch/converter rule in place if it was illegal.  I guess it would be the same reason they personally called at your house you to warn you they were checking those.  And of course you brought out a completly different car because yours was illegal.  I bet all the drivers would like the officials to call them and warn them on what they are going to tech on Sat night.  It's the same reason you came up to me and mama68 and thanked us becasue we "had you" when we didn't give Will Dog the extra 50 dollars he needed to protest you.  Of course we didn't give it to him or protest you ourselves.  Then you really would have gone down as a cheater.  I have no problem with you enjoying your 2 championships, just don't use them against me in your arguments of look what I got and you don't.  I'd rather see you show me what you got now rather than what you had 8-9 years ago.
