The metric frames seem to be the most common anymore. They're light which helps with rear % in the end. I guess there is a particular Chevelle that is even lighter, from what I hear, but I don't know what year it is and even then fi8nding them is supposed to be tough. If your running somewhere the track stays tacky maybe the duribility of a heavier Chevelle would be ok, but out here in the desert (Bakersfield CA) we need all the rear % we can get.

i'm guessing you are talking about the 64-72 style frames...I have a friend with about 40 A bodies...need some? LOL

i think i will go with a metric frame for now since i have 4 of these cars in the weeds out back for parts  LOL

If you have the metric chassis's handy , and your planning to build your own car. Then go with what you got.Never seen a mass produced ford frame on any IMCA type cars. I do belive the "speedway kit" uses a Impala frame as well as the Jet cars. If your planning to buy a roller Jet always as good  used cars for sale on there site. If your here bako id look into the new victory circle cars(Are they making those yet)

I think the 72 car than ran at SMS Sat night was a Victory Circle. They also have pics of a mod on there website.

WWW.PRO-CHASSIS.NET   easy car to set up....we raced street stocks for years and then jumped into a pro with amazing results.....not to many changes if any at all and good on all tracks..... from bako to antioch we've raced this year with the same setup under it and ran with top 5's at both and a few other tracks..  just watch kellen chadwick marcus aue troy burkart and a few more coming out by open show time
