Never been to Madera Speedway, but if I lived there I would support the track and Promoter!!!!!
I have seen to many tracks close in my years as being a race fan and even when I promoted.  Some of these tracks were Ascott, Corona Raceway, Riverside International Raceway, and even here in the State of Washington, Spanaway, it was an awesome paved 1/4 mile but due to the house contruction they closed it too.
You know I have nothing against baseball, football BUT I have never seen any of these fields being torn down and what about the noise and the lights  ect. ect.,,, Like I said I have nothing agaist these games, but when it comes to our sport (racing) we get plowed under.
I live in a fast growing town of Port Angeles, Wa. we do have a 1/4 mile track and it has been here for years and I mean many years and the buildings is getting closer and many complaints, one day it will be closed too I hate to see that happin.

PS I'm looking into maybe finding a track to promote or ?
