UltraShield Full Containment Seat
11/12/06 at 10:57pm

I have a 5 race old UltraShield Lightweight Aluminum Full Containment Seat for sale...

It was mounted in my new car when it was built, used for about 5 races...

The reason for selling the seat is because I already had a custom seat but couldn't get it in in time before the car was raced so I used what was available, which what was in the car, the UltraShield...

Its a very comfortable seat, one of the safest on the market, affordable and high quality lightweight aluminum which makes it easy to mount, isn't outdated, and comes with all upholstery that came with it from UltraShield...

It is a 16" seat, which I have found if you are a 15" in a Kirkey, the 16" is the same size in an UltraShield... It has seperate pads for the rib braces so if the seat is a little small or you lose some extra baggage over the years, you can take out the left side pad if you run an oval, thats what I do with my Kirkeys...

It is a 20* layback which is ideal for Modifieds, Late Models, Dwarf Cars, even some Sprint/Midget drivers prefer the slight layback for comfort... Even in a Hobby Stock it is a good idea to keep safe, it will work in one of those types of cars as well, it will work in anything that has seat mounts or that can have fabricated mounts... It also works quite well with factory chassis manufacturers seat mounts as well...

Its a great seat, only has one set of mounting holes, looks brand new just like it did the day it was mounted, seat was purchased with brand new roller in June and wasn't raced until late September-early October for the first time...

Seat retails brand new from most dealers at, or around rom what I have researched for $638.00 that is the cheapest dealer price I have found.. Direct from UltraShield your looking at around $575.00 plus shipping and handling fees, which are pricey with an iten this large...

I am asking $475.00 but I will even take $450.00 If you have the quick cash I will even take $425.00 for it...

Remember, safety is key in racing, this seat will definatley keep you safe in your race car...

You can see this seat at http://www.ultrashieldrace.com/prod.php?id=51

Seat comes with black upholstery...
