I am doing the same thing...sort of. Mini to IMCA. I got a great deal on a car, with a trailer. I have run twice, and I'm broke. The IMCA is just more expensive...tires, wheels, fuel, and a lot more servicing, especially if you run alcohol...fuel system maintenance, oil changes, etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking back. It's just going to take more help to keep the car on the track this year. So, is it more expensive, yes. Is it a kick in the ass to drive...Oh yeah!! My advice, figure out a way to make it work. You'll never know if you don't try.

Thanks for that offer. I will probably spend most of my time at Ventura. I live in Camarillo, and I made the haul to SMS all of last year to take the mini stock title last year. Kind of looking forward to a little less driving(the truck)this year. It also depends on schedules and money, surprise, surprise. I'll be running the # 11 again this year. When I come up, I'll be sure to introduce myself.
