If you was a terrorist and wanted to see a country fall apart what better way to do it than to hope a Black man gets voted to president and then have him assasinated by a white man? if the rodney king riots dont come to mind you are not thinking hard enough. If we had riots over a black man getting beat up by some cops, what do you think would happen to this country if the first black president was killed? Mass cival war..Terrorist's are just waiting for something like this to come along.. They are praying for it. God help us if it happens. JMO, but I bet I'm right.

I dont think it's skin color either,,and as far as him not being all black..Have you seen the headlines all over the place?? The skin color of him is what people will see if it happens, not that he was just another president killed,mark my words.

I hope it doesn't happen, but if it does, I believe the outcome is going to be life changing for everyone.

As a McCain supporter, I think there are many valid reasons NOT to vote for Obama. But some of the viral e-mails and goofy scenarios are a bit overboard in my opinion as an adult.

By the way, I'm of the belief that when people make a point, they have a purpose. It's just human nature.

Ok I for one hardly comment on political statements, but I would hope that in my life time I never see a President of the United States of America assinated again, I dont care what color he is, and dont want to see this country destroyed with race riots, because somebody didnt like the color of a person.  Too me its not healthy to post anything close to saying this might happen, cause you never know who is reading these posts.  I dont vote for the party, or the color of a person.  JMOO...Don

No problem Mr. Impatient! LOL!

Here are some in no particular order:

1.  My unease over his experience in world politics.

2.  His position on paying back the national debt. (He voted NO in the senate on paying it down with any surplus. The national debt is THE big reason our dollar is tanking!)

3.  Unease on his wishy-washy position on spending and entitlements. He needs to come around on this one if he wants to attract independents.

4.  He supported "hate crime" legislation. I think a crime is a crime, regardless of the motivation, and should be punished in full without the need for special legislation.

5.  His support of Affirmative Action. I'm against anything that legislates morality. (Of course, that applies to many conservative legislative proposals as well.)

There are some more, but I'll save those for lunch. And of course, I have some concerns about McCain's stance on various issues, too!

I have been an admirer of John McCain for the past 10 years or so. I am a little disappointed at some of McCain's pandering and flip-flopping of late, and with some of his "mis-statements", but I attribute that to the necessities of politics. I think he will probably "revert" back to the old McCain and the "straight talk express" after the election. Even James Dobson now says he might reverse course and vote for McCain, so you can see where McCain has to walk a fine line with the evangelicals.

With all of this, I am still an independent and could be swayed depending on conditions on the ground in America and the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I am one who believes that this election could go either way. I wouldn't bet much money on McCain to win or for Obama to keep his lead in the polls. It's just too soon to predict.

I only hope that people will make their decisions based on real issues and not the crap that is flying around from supporters of both candidates.
