6.33 or a 6.50 thats with a powerglide trans. in first gear you'll tack anywhere from 6200 to 6700.

think you meant 2nd or hi gear.
a 4.11 with low gear on a glide = 7.23
a 3.89 w............................... = 6.84

hi gear is a 1to1. rear gear is the final.

figure it was just a typo from jay. but dont want to see anyone blow somthin up.

thank 4 your help i will run a standerd  tranny  i was told a 727 will work  dont mined changhing  both tranny and rearend   just want to be in the  6ooo  - 6500  range     ( i think)   all new  to so any help  is big help   thank you

I was up there earlier this year and ran my powerglide in first gear with 3.50 rear gear for a final of 6.37 (1.82*3.5).  My max rpm was 6200rpm with an 85in tire.  I would pick 6.50 over 6.33. jmo

that sounds more like it. 727 sounds too tight for hanford.

633-650 is good. 650 is perfect with a power glide. the RPM range is 6000-7100. just depends on how u drive i will probably hit 7000. jason drives like a girl so he will probably turn 6500 lol.

WHEN I RAN AT HANDFORD I RAN 389 GEARS IN LOW WITH THE POWERGLIDE WHICH COMES OUT TO BE 707 AND TURN FROM 6700 TO 7100
