doesn't sound to good to me, you ussually need more angle in your uppers to have a decent roll center . while I agree with Brad in the don't overthink it, it sounds as if you are working from scratch and not from a pro built chassis. I would recommend that you get a Steve Smith book on Modifieds, it is old school in a lot of ways but also has a lot of good basic info(like mapping roll center) that it seems you maybe needing. It never hurts to try and understand your racecar better, there are many factors as to why the car may not be rolling over the way you want(even the j-bar can be a factor), and roll centers are ever changing while in motion which makes it difficult to say a certain location is right. good luck

i am planning on going to the racewise 3 day class in denver in february so that should shed some light on the issue. before i set the chassis at 6 3/4" ride height my angles were more like 14 and 15 but then again the lowers weren't level... kind of touchy verifying if they are level... so I raised the car to get the ride height.

hey jp i have a 06/09 AWESOME chassis out of pahrump,nv its a metric clip and i use 67 nova lowers w/pinto spindles and 3 piece uppers . i use the long lower balljoint and tall upper balljoint , sorry no part#s for the bj`s . as for set up we try to line up the lower pivot bolt with a " visualized " center of the lower bj as a "starting point for ride height @6" . springs for vegas were 650 both sides . but for the short track we run on a weekly schedule i run 800l 900r w the same ride heights . angles on the uppers are 15L and 14R , dont no if that sounds right to some of the other guys but my right uper arm is SHORT , i have 6 degrees of camber gain from ride height to bump ( keeps the tire flat to the track at all times) as for rolling over on the right front , with the amount of traction i have she stays firmly planted, bottomed, etc . as for the j bar i only run 6" of split at ride height . my car is double 4 bar , L bars 5 and 19 degrees r bars 5 -21 degrees to start with  and 50# of bite . all i do inbetween heats and b or main is drop the right bars , maybe a lil stagger or reverse stagger . some people seen my car @VV at the begining of the year , said it looks tight , it was but for me id rather push than spin . any ways this may help u , maybe not , hell maybe i got it all wrong , who nos , maybe ill get some advice . thanks eric . Wink

xmodracer, thanks for the info.. i got a few other tips and then decided to string out the front end to see where my roll center really was. I lowered my ride height to 6 on the left and 53/4 on the right. Removed the upper BJ that was 1" over on the left and low and behold... the roll center was exactly where the book says... 4" to the right and about 3 1/2" off the floor... I'm stoked.. now all I have to do is install my 3 piece upper a arms and I'll be ready in the front end... got some parts from the stockton swap meet and a bsb brake floater so now I can focus on the rear end.
