What else do I have to buy? Can I use my same bellhousing? Do I need a coupler?

I use a Falcon, but I think they are very similar.
If you use a block mount starter, you use a flex plate and coupler.
the belhousing should work, and the hyd line for the release bearing, just goes to the side of the tranny, drive line might even work too (maybe not if you had the T/H 400 spline for the richmond)
You'll love the simplicity of it all, we change the oil (7/8th qt ATF) every few races, cause the wet clutch fouls it pretty good

i f your using a brinn use about a quart of regular motor oil and change it after every race and you will always find a little junk on the drain plug its normal and use your winch to load the car the clutches will last a lot longer

Billy, Brinn recommends that you use a 20-50 non synthetic engine oil. We change ours every other race and the clutch pack still looks new. After dealing with a Brinn, I now see how much simpler and more robust they are compared to triple disc clutches, light weight flex plates, hydraulic throw out bearings and all that stuff. Just remember the clutch discs ate really small and your leg is the pressure plate. I would never use the clutch to get the car on the trailer. BTW, if you use a Brinn, will your rules allow you to use a rear mount starter. If so, do so and you will only need a coupler.

I think they say working starter in stock position.
So I put a stock starter on the block and had the rear mount and ran a wire to each.
They both worked, but there was no flex plate, so the one in stock did nothing but spin

LOL! That's pretty good...find some little light plastic deal that would barely start a motorcycle or something, make a custom mount and wow! You have a "working starter in stock location" LOL!!

That was last year at Perris, where their tranny rule was "must have transmission"
I wouldn't do anything like that now, of course !!

I always hear about no loading with the Brin or Bert tranny's BUT what is the difference from loading or turning arond in the pits or climing the hill if you should (God forbid) spin out. Chet and I loaded with our Bert for Five yrs, never changed the clutch pack and never had a problem. We changed the fluid EVERY other race and used B&M trick shift fluid. Always clean and never a problem.

B&M works well in a Bert, Brinn, or Falcon. I've never put motor oil in a Brinn, so I can't say how that will work.
Used Redline Synthetic ATF for years in a Brinn, no issues, and continue to have no issues with Joe Gibbs MTF. Changed it every 200 to 250 laps and it was not contaminated badly, and hardly saw anything on the drain plug.
