This past week has truly opened my eyes to the true meaning of christmas. Last Wednesday we got a phone call to rush my husband Jimmy Reeves, up to the emergency room after getting back abnormal blood test results. After spending 8 hours in the emergency room that day and the last 6 days in the hospital not knowing day to day the outcome really made me re-evaluate my priorities. I find it really sad that it took a life or death situation to make me come to my senses. A year ago I was among the many mindless shoppers shuffling from store to store trying to find the best price on the latest and greatest gifts to put under the tree. The outpouring of support from family friends made me realize that, that is the true meaning of christmas. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and good health and prosperity. On a side note Jimmy is now home resting and has a long road to recovery but I have faith that with the huge support system he has he can get through anything.
