Take a look at the newest contraption at our local ski area. I must admit, I think I want to try it.

$35 for 4 hours plus cost of lift pass.

I'd do it!!!   http://www.youtube.com/kdawg17#p/u/14/0Qs8sQLJS0s

been to Mt High a few times myself, only about 3 hrs from orcutt. nice place. all my friends go to sierra summit, but i havent been up there yet.

my first time on a tobagan (sp???) when i was about 10 or so i ran into some old lady standing at the bottom of the hill, because i didnt know how to stop the d@mned thing. lol....still funny to remember to this day

i have seen it to where people have what look like bicycles on the snow, except they are adapted to the snow, (boards on the botton instead of wheels and such), looked kinda neat

i go skiiing in january usually every other year, and last year the full day lift tickets were $82 bucks per day at Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe. 9-4 i am pretty sure is the hours you can ski??? cool being able to ski into Nevada and back. not sure how much half day tickets are even though i bought 3 of them last year out of the 5 days i skiied.

the views of the lake are breathtakingly amazing

Skis with a steering wheel!?!? Does it get any better? Both involve going as fast as you can, both involve "controlling the beast", what red blooded american guy wouldn't want to at least TRY it?

I could go for that, and I HATE cold and snow.
