I'm thinking.. what parent let's their 6th grader out like that? Do you really want everyone looking at your 6th graders butt? Poor Parenting 101.

It's amazing what parents allow today,,, I'm not sure if they are that stupid or they just dont care enough to put the effort into parenting,,,, whens the last time you took your daughter to the skating rink? let me just say WOW !!!,, parents drop off thier 4 and 5 year old kids off and pick them up hours later,,,, its like a day care with no rules inside there,,LOL..

Ok guys, here it goes, I am 65 raising my 14 year old granddaughter, and we clash all the time over what she wants to wear and how she wants to paint her face up, looking like something that should be standing on the corner, yes it is very tuff being a parent, especially when your 65, we hear maybe that is the way they did it when you were young, but that was a long time ago. My wife has hissy fits sometimes when she comes down from her room, then the fight starts. Yes its very hard raising kids now days, especially girls, who grow up very fast, and boys who notice girls a lot younger also. I think it has a lot to do with family values and the lack of it in many single parent families, on the other hand there are a lot of single partents that raise their kids and turn out to be great kids with no problems. My hat is off to those folks, its hard with 2 parents, let along just one...Billy, I agree with you in what you observed, some of thses girls are dressing in stuff that is way too old for them, but seems to be no parental guidance, and that is where the problem lies....JMOO...Don

i aggree with you Billy... My ex has 4 kids, 2 girls, 2 boys... She kept the girls clothing pretty mellow... but her oldest daughter would bring her frinds over, and holy cow... i couldnt believe the stuff they would be wearing... and the same with her oldest son... his friends would come over, and im like oh crap... you all gotta leave... i really cant believe people let there teens dress like that... and people wonder why sex crimes have rison over the years...

Fights over what my barely 14 yr old daughter might want to wear are common. We were headed out the door to church a while ago, and she comes out with a spaghetti strap top on. Ok, not a big deal on a hot summer day or for going to the pool, but for church?? Not here. She does NOT own any daisy dukes, or half shirts, or short skirts... and of course, her mom and I are the jerks.

KEEP up the good work Guys,,, we cant let them do what they want just because it would be easier to do,,, every day its a fight in my house because of it,, sad part is their mom thinks the step daughters look ok with it all hanging out,,,so yes its a big fight every day here, but I have to try because my youngest daughter is only 9,,, long battle ahead,,, LOL

I believe Sexualizing society is one of the goals of Communism.....
There is a purpose behind all this crap.....

Targeting teen girls and pre teen girls... did that not start with Madonna? She was helped by MTV.. the video generation. How outrages can you get with out being banned?

Fortunately my boys had no interest in MTV...there's no darn music on it. Also, didn't get into Rap & Hip Hop. My oldest had an issue with a couple of girls when he was 11. My wife wanted to sugar coat everything concerning sex. I hit him right between the eyes (figure of speech) with reality and the consequences. Also, did the same with my youngest at 11. Our kids watched pretty much what we watched...not into the overt romantic movies, but Lethal Weapon, Alien, Predator, and action movies. My oldest first concert at 14 was Megadeth, my youngest was Rob Zombie at 12. We kept an eye on our boys and they turned out just fine with rationalizing blunt reality. I'm pretty sure I would have raised girls the same if I had them. However I would have had my brother make me that steel chastity belt for them

Those belts have been around for ages.
