I like Bill.  He's a friendly guy, works on his own stuff, doesn't pretend that it's worth spending alot of money to race these cars, and tries to help who he can.  So, it would be fair to count me, Johnnie Baptista #33b, as a mod racer that likes Bill.

If someone is a fan of mod racing they should keep something in mind: For those well funded, super fast, Elite Mod Racers to have those big dollar purses they require, a track needs 10 Bills (or 10 Baps) for every 2 Elites.  So you folks may wanna be nice to the guys that are not Elite.  If the Bills and Baps stay home that means the Elites have to fund their own racing ... like they do in LateModels ... and hows that working out?

Thats kind of silly, because Chow, WCSS and others allow it as it makes good sense, and saves money in the long run.

point taken bap but i was commenting on actual events and this crazy lady goes on about how i teach my kids to flip people off,i have 1 kid she's obviously mistaken me for someone else my son turned 2 a month ago this was his 1st race this season and it was too loud for his likin so mama came and picked him up.he did dig the graders even though they were night night,mabe i should take him to chow for some real tractor action.oh yeah its my understandin youre big ol gal im 6 feet 205 not exactly fat although not as trim as i was in my 20s i own my short comings and bein a white trash parent spillin beer on my kid while im blowin smoke in his face is not one of them

The Sport Mods will not be runing with the Mods again. Also the wire came in today for the LIGHTS

i know the schedule is set, but something else to think about is maybe not running sport mods on the same night as the mods at all. VAR has not booked them together yet. the fans dont see the speed difference as much when they are weeks apart. and it gives a mod guy a chance to change his car over and try out the sport mod class. it seems to be working down here! just tryin to help!

Give John a call. Marshall too if you plan on running again. And anyone else with a Falcon call. He is a pretty nice guy, remember he is new to this area and maybe up there they don't have an issue with anyone running the trans. I'm sure once he is aware that 5 of your local guys use them, he will adjust as he sees fit.

I think Bap is a smart guy saying not to badmouth guys that are  new, learning, slower or whatver you may call them. The SS division is in bad shape right now because of the same thing with people not showing up. The people that are not going to win this week need to feel welcomed and helped out so that they can one day be a threat to take a checkered and not told that they suck. This is not teeball and everyone doesnt get a trophy, so we need to support the people interested enough to spend the money to show up and make an effort. It took me 18 years to win at Bakersfield speedway, but man did it feel good when it happened!!!!!!!

we sport mods did not ask to be run with the modifieds put we were put with them anyways , all i see is a bunch of people complaining about us being in the way just remember we did not ask to be with the modifieds but we still went out there had fun got torn up from some car running over the front of my car darn i thought if the car in front of u gets a little out of shape u back off so u both dont crash not hit the gas and drive over the top of their hood guess modifieds thats what u do not to mention at the end off the race someone hit the rear wheel of my car causing the drive shaft to break , the leaf springs both bent ,and the rear bumper almost pulled of from the car going under the rear . gonna cost some $$$$ to fix but you dont here me crying about being stuck out with the modifieds ill fix car and keep racing cause its fun oh yeah and i did pass some of the modifieds with my sport mod hmmm.
