Sure it's not often the most popular way to do it, but it is true that outsiders are not real thrilled about racing is the typical crashfest that always takes place at antioch. As is often said, they race a million times cleaner back east and arizona and new mexico... we need to start doing the same here. It's alot easier on everybody's wallet.
finishing out back is a lot easier to take when you don't do a couple hundred dollars worth of damage in a wreck that is caused by a guy that tries to win from the back row in one lap, no matter what lap it maybe.
one of the dumbest statements ever said is i run hard every lap for every position. nobody really comes to the track to wreck and no one comes to finish last.
however there is no shame in starting 16th or 18th and only getting to 10th in a nonstop race. the competion level is so much closer these days with the technology that very few people can come from middle to back and win these days, yet so many drive like they have the car and ability. you have to get one spot at a time and give people the respect you would like given to you. after all nobody likes being torn up in a senseless wreck.
