You can check bite in the car meaning how heavy the LR is compared to the RR.  The lower the number, the looser it will be.  I'd start off with 90lbs, meaning the LR is 90lbs heavier the RR.  That's bite.  Most of the time Cross is related to bite or at least it usually plays out like that on the scales.  90lbs of bite will probably set you close to 49% cross.  I don't race mods but I would imagine they handle like garbage if you get the bite up to high.

I started running mods at the first of the year and my mod has came a long way with set up but for someone new to it I found that the car gets so much bite that we run 20lbs and still will lift the left front and bar angles are very critical too. Hope things work out for you. I dont know a lot but what I do know I will share.

pretty musch put cross in the car till the front end wants to go to the wall then if to mush back it off a lil the way to gain cross is to take one turn out of the LF and one turn out of the RR then add a turn to the RF and add one to the LR

the j-bar or panhard bar is what raises the left front off the ground the lower you are on the pinion the lower your roll center which will tend to wanna raise the left front off the ground. the higher the cross and bite the tighter your gonna be i would set it around 75 pounds then play with your j-bar to fine tune jmo
