I have a new '78 nova Factory stock for Cocopah speedway, and I was wondering if anyone has front spring rate suggestions. Also shocks, mine aren't good to say the least

thanks

With stock mount shocks you have little choice. We run AFCO and/or PRO Shocks. They do make a couple of different choices for the front that is why I may run different brands depending on the condition of the track!
Hope this helps!

Thanks, i was leaning towards afco shocks. The biggest thing is that my car was originally a pavement car, so I think the springs were cut down to lower the car. So how much difference generally in spring rate is there between the left and right front?

generally you want 100 lb split difference. we need to know the weight of the car in order to give spring rates, but i liked a 1000 rf and 900 lf in my old 3300lb camaro

The class is limited to 3400lbs with driver. i noticed that the springs from AFCO come in different lengths, and Cocopah has been a rougher track. Is there a range there I should be looking for or is the length for specific car?
