POSSIBLE TO WIN $1,000.00 AT PASSCAR RACES IN 2011 AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY

(Perris, CA, March 15, 2011) When the PASSCAR Stock Car season gets underway this Saturday night, March 19th, at Perris Auto Speedway, drivers in the Super Stock, Street Stock and Modified Classes may have something extra to race for. Promoter Don Kazarian has announced that when any of those classes draw 24 entries on a race night in 2011, the winner of the class main event will receive $1,000.00. All three of the classes will be racing this Saturday and they will be joined by the Factory Stocks and the CDCRA Dwarf Cars. The 2010 PASSCAR awards barbeque will follow after the final checkered flag of the night. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM and the first race will be at 5:30. Tickets are priced at $9.00 for adults. Active military members with proper id, teens 13-18 with their school id and kids 6-12 will all get in for just $5.00. Children under 5 will be admitted free.

All of the 2010 series champions - Chad Burns of Mira Loma in the Super Stocks, Tustin's Alan Updyke in the Modifieds, Curtis Dietzsch of Moreno Valley in the Street Stocks and Stephen "Bam Bam" Fangmeyer of Corona in the Factory Stocks - are expected to be on hand to open defense of their crowns on Saturday and receive their 2010 championship awards after the race.

At the awards barbeque, Dietzsch will be picking up his third (2007, 2008 and 2010) championship trophy in the last four years at The PAS. Updyke will also be taking home his third PAS title trophy (2005, 2008 & 2010) and Burns will be taking home his second (2002 & 2010). For the popular Fangmeyer, it will be his first PAS championship hardware.

Saturday's fast paced racing program will including heat races and main events for all five classes.

Saturday will also be night number of the Oil Twins Dominator Award. Beginning Saturday, the driver who passes the most cars in the Street Stock and Factory Stock main event will receive a certificate for Amsoil products from the Oil Twins. Winners will also automatically qualify for the "2nd Annual Oil Twins Challenge" on Champions night, which will take place on Saturday, October 29th.

Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of October’s Southern California Fair), approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway and go three miles east to the fairgrounds.
