spring and panhard bar ?'s
07/25/11 at 8:53pm

okay, so I want to bring my car down south to support some of the sport mod tracks before the season ends.  currently I have my rear end set up three link/swing arm with a J-Bar,  the couple questions I have as far as setting it up on par with sport mod rules are:

*springs in front of or behind the axle on which side? (I don't have weight jack buckets on the car so I plan to run them on the sliders)

*panhard bar,  with the straight bar behind the rear end, where should it mount on the rear end in reference to pinion centerline (left to right) and what can I expect with different lengths?  I seem to remember a 23" minimum rule?

thanks,

ya panhard bar located behind rear housing min 23 inches. then on the spring it dont matter i have my left side in front of the axel and right side on top if you was going to a sport mod imca track both springs would have to be on top of the axel. and for a bull bar maximun 3 bisquits,we call it a bisquit bar no spring no shock there a minimim lenght on that too check the webside racechowchillia.com

At CHOW there is No Legnth Rule on the Pull Bar =

" Must use one upper control arm (pull bar) with biscuit
(Maximum 3 biscuits 2 ¼ inch in diameter) located at top center of rear end housing "
