Hello Racers –



           Thank you for participating in the “Delta Series” and at Oval Motorsports events this season.

           We have decided to schedule “Delta Series II” the weekend of October 6 and 7 at Antioch and Merced Speedways.

           It is my goal to grow these events into a multiple-race series of special races next season. Therefore, we have begun recording points for the “Delta Series”, with this season’s races in the series being applied to the 2013 season “Delta Series” championships.

           We are seeking sponsorship for next year’s “Delta Series” events, which we hope to schedule at regular intervals throughout the season at our two tracks – Antioch and Merced Speedways.

           I believe the “Delta Series” approach to the 2013 season will bolster racing in the featured divisions, and improve car counts. Weekly racing will continue, offering drivers needed  “seat time” to prepare for the “Delta Series” events.

           Please support the “Delta Series” events. I know there are only two weeks until the next event. Your participation and the success of “Delta Series II” will determine the scheduling of future “Delta Series” events this season.

           Dirt racing’s future is bright at Oval Motorsports. Please spread the word about the “Delta Series”. I appreciate your help and your participation.

Antioch Speedway Saturday evening, October 6:



Modifieds: $1500 to Win. $150 to Start. Entry - $100 car and driver.

($150 to race both Antioch and Merced)

Hobby Stocks: $250 to win. $50 to start. $65 car and driver entry fee.

Wingless Sprints: Regular Purse. $40 car and driver entry fee.

Dwarf Cars: Regular Purse. $40 car and driver entry fee.



SPECIAL: BOAT RACES - $100 to WiN – Boats to be towed by Enduro cars or Hobby Stocks (contact speedway to enter).



Merced Speedway Sunday evening, October 7:



Modifieds: $1000 to Win. $75 to Start. Entry - $85 car and driver.

($150 to race both Antioch and Merced)

Sport Mods: $300 to Win. $40 car and driver entry fee.

Hobby Stocks: $250 to Win. $40 car and driver entry fee.



SPECIAL: BOAT RACES - $100 to WiN – Boats to be towed by Enduro cars or Hobby Stocks (contact speedway to enter).
