New Dirt Modified Racer

To anyone that can help,

I have been racing since I was about 5. I started racing quarter midgets at 5 years old winning about 5-6 dirt shootout championships.  Next we moved onto racing minicup cars at Altamont raceway, where we won the championship in 2003.  After that we sold the car and spent a few years building a class 7 off-road race truck from scratch.  We won the 2009 class 7 championship with VORRA and than I went off to college.  I am getting ready to graduate and am looking at getting out of the truck and back into the dirt oval where I originally started racing.  I want to step into a Dirt Modified and run at Antioch and Merced speedways.  I have a few questions that maybe a few of you can help me with.

1)      I have seen a few IMCA Modified cars for sale, but I see Antioch runs UMP Modified cars.  Can an IMCA car be a UMP Modified with some changes?
2)      It has been a while since I have been on the circle track market; who do I contact as far as track staff to get started ounce I get a car?  Do I just show up?  At Altamont raceway I had to get a license to race at the track.  Is Antioch and Merced the same way?
3)      Does anyone know any good cars for sale around either track?
4)      What are the race/pit fees on race day?

I would really appreciate any help in answering these questions, and I may have more as well.  Look forward to talking to you guys, and getting back into dirt track racing.

Thank You,
Kc Keller

as for Merced 2012, IMCA Modifieds are Legal to Run as a UMP Modified.  as for the License, you just show up & pay for it. Think Entry Fee was $35
