When you make frog soup and use live frogs, you cant throw the frogs in when the water hot because they will just jump out. So you put the frogs in cold water first and the frog will be happy to swim and have fun and wont try to get out. Then you start adding the heat, slowly at first. The frogs become even more happy because the water is a little warmer. As the water gets warmer, the frogs relax and may even feel like drifting off to sleep. By the time the frogs realize that something is wrong, if they ever do, it is too late and you have frog soup.

Do you think Obama is making frog soup? Because I have talked to a lot of happy frogs lately.
