I probably should keep better notes, but I have a pretty good system for keeping and being able to search through what notes I do keep. I try to help people as much as I can, so I put up a short overview of what I use, and then I got some messages on it, so I'm going into a little further detail. This isn't going into the actual setups, but just how I keep track of my notes. I use Evernote, and it's free.
