I'm not a big conspiracy guy either, for the same reason, however, I wouldn't take the word of this administration for one second.  They have repeatedly lied to us, including Benghazi and there is no reason to believe that they aren't lying about the bomb suspects and those associated with them.  When you develop a pattern of lying, no one, and I mean no one aught to believe a word out of your administration.  Dave, you seem to be believing the bilge there feeding you, that will make you one of the sheeple.

PS  I get the Blaze and its free...  Beck is worth millions, so much for your he's drying up theory....I get his TV channel too...at no extra charge....

I don't automatically believe everything this or any other administration tells me. I also don't automatically disbelieve everything this or any other administration says either.

I check things out myself and apply my own knowledge and experience to form an opinion. And my experience is that all these anti-government theories and predictions turn out to be nothing. No FEMA concentration camps, no one-world currency, no UN agents taking away our guns, Michele Obama has not outlawed cheeseburgers.

And let's not forget Beck's prediction of runaway inflation by 2009, then 2010, then 2011, then 2012, then... oh heck with it... trust me it's coming! Beck was using this inflation fear narrative as he was being paid to push gold even as it hit $1900 an ounce (It closed today down $25 at $1446 per ounce).

Also, can you name me one politician or partisan pundit that doesn't have a "pattern of lying"? Are you forming any opinions based on what you hear from a politician or pundit?

And my point about Glenn Beck seems to be bolstered by your point. Beck is still getting his message out. No conspiracy to silence him from some mysterious media cartel. He lost his show on Fox because he lost his sponsors by his continued claims that were proved to be overblown or a figment of his imagination. If Beck has some real evidence of something why doesn't he put it out there instead of hiding behind "just asking questions"? He has promised information that would either save or end this country. Sounds pretty ominous until you consider the source is Chicken Little.

All I can add to this conversation is that this Government whether it be Obama or Bush would stop at nothing to protect the Saudis from any connection to anything anti-American.

It was done in 2001 and I believe it's being done again. And once again Eric Holder is right in the middle of it.

According to the law in the state of Mass. an arrest made without a warrant issued on a suspect allows authorities up to 4 weeks to present that suspect before a Judge and Miranda doesn't apply without a warrant before you appear before a Judge. The Feds had at least 3 1/2 more weeks to question the wounded bomber but in walked a DOJ lawyer and Federal Judge while CIA and FBI are questioning him, they read him his Miranda rights and tell him to shut up. The same way Deputy AG Holder wouldn't let the FBI look at the 20th hi-jackers computer back in 2001, which would have played a role in perhaps thwarting that attack altogether.

This Government will stop at nothing to protect the Saudis. NOTHING!!!

Dave, I don't even know where to start, but here goes.  You pointed out Becks prediction about gold....how many times has the weatherman been wrong?  thats why its called a prediction...that was super lame, Dave...

Beck has asked a lot of questions about Benghazi and the Boston bombing, and why shouldn't he? the rest of the media won't ask anything.  Do you believe the Benghazi incident was caused by a video?  Thats what the White House told you...was that the truth? You know the guy that made the film short is still in jail?  You know that Napolitano gave three differing renditions on the bombing, all different and all under oath in three consecutive days...Wouldn't it seem as though that at the very least she lied on two of those days, if not all three?  Now its being reported that three or four people that want to testify about Benghazi are being blocked and threatened,  does that sound like an administration thats been telling the truth?  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/04/29/obama-administration-officials-have-t...

Everyone always says Beck and Limbaugh and Hannity are always lying and inciting, not true, all three read items out of the public record (news papers and the like) and comment on those articles, if its their opinion, then it can't necessarily be a lie, can it...

Do you think for one minute that if obummer could figure out a way to take every gun away from every American that he wouldn't do it?  I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't bet against it....  As far as the gun legislation put forth by this administration and using the victims of Sandy Hook as a back drop, would anyone of their proposed laws have made a nichols worth of difference in Sandy Hook?  Answer, no, not one.  As a matter of fact the present laws worked perfectly, the son that committed the crime tried to get a gun and was unable because of his stability issues.  No law could have stopped the mother from being careless and paying the ultimate price for that carelessness.

I can go one for hours, let me know if you need more ....

Duane,

I would bet that the weatherman has a better track record of predictions then Beck.

I see you are back to the same, "if it's an opinion, it can't be a lie?, canard. But an opinion, even if not a lie, can certainly be provably wrong. And the strange and illogical idea that someone's record of prediction is irrelevant to valuing future predictions because it's only a prediction is what is "super lame".

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. No argument there. But to value all opinions and predictions the same is crazy. At some point you have to evaluate one's record of predictions to determine the value of future predictions. It's just common sense.

If you are a businessperson, would you continue to take the advice of a consultant that was constantly wrong in their predictions and evaluations? Not if you want to be a successful business person. I use the same standard with anyone giving predictions, whether in business, personal, or political.

And Beck's record of predictions is pretty well documented. He is always making bold predictions of grave danger happening within days or weeks. But then after those days and weeks pass without anything close to his prediction happening he simply moves on to another prediction.

I have only pointed out that as someone with cognitive abilities, I have made the judgement that Beck's predictions are not worth much based on his past record. That is not to say that Beck is ALWAYS wrong. No one is always wrong.

And nothing in my post has anything to do with Benghazi. The debate was about Glenn Beck and his goofy Saudi theory and his broken promise of some blockbuster information that could save or end the US that he was supposed to reveal almost two weeks ago. I'm still waiting, but won't hold my breath. Address that subject if you can.

And 18rcr, you can call me names if you like to avoid the points I made, but it isn't too convincing. I have asked the questions. But I have also found answers to many of them. Some I have already posted for the record. But I would be happy to respectfully discuss them with you if you are able to do that.

BTW, Duane is still allowed to call me names cuz he's my buddy. Still waiting to meet you 18rcr. Hope you can come out to Cali soon for a race.

Dave, as I have said, I rely on these pundits for facts, I don't generally hold their extrapolations with much weight.   Whether you like Beck or not, his facts are right on and his questions are valid.  Out of his own mouth he will tell you, "Don't believe me, do your own research"..  You can't get much more straightforward then that.  Wouldn't it be nice if our own administration would be so forthcoming?   There are very very few people in this government that I'd trust for information, and that includes a bunch of Republicans, mostly the leadership.

Did anyone else hear about this? Something sure is fishy, I wonder if this was just a test? I never heard anything on nightly news about it. its like they are keeping it hush hush... Kinda strange how its another saudi involved,

A Saudi man was arrested at Detroit Metropolitan Airport with a pressure cooker, less than a month after a bomb using one of the kitchen devices was used to kill three and injure hundreds.

Hussain Al Kwawahir was charged in federal court with using an altered passport and lying to a Customs and Border Protection Agent about the pressure cooker, according to The Detroit News. Al Kwawahir arrived Saturday from Saudi Arabia, via Amsterdam, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday in federal court. He told investigators he was here to see a nephew who attends the University of Toledo.

Customs officials noticed a page missing from his passport, then found the pressure cooker during an examination of his baggage, according to authorities. Al Kwawahir said he brought the pressure cooker for his nephew because the devices are not sold in the United States, according to the complaint.

He later changed his story, saying his nephew had bought a pressure cooker in the U.S. but it was broken.
