My grandpappy must be turning over in his grave by now.

He was a small town newspaper owner/editor and he predicted way back in the 60's that this country would be over run by people with their hand out, and class warfare would be our undoing.

His quote kills me. He refers to equal opportunity, well where is the equal opportunity for the folks that actually respected our laws and tried to or have gotten to the US legally.

I keep hearing (not necessarily from this article) that the illegals will still have to go to the back of the line on their path way to citizenship. But the back of the line is not in the US. There are people that have been waiting in their own countries for years to get into the US. Somehow I bet that when the illegals are given amnesty, the people waiting outside the US, legally, wont all be allowed in.

The logic behind the rhetoric escapes me (just like the voter ID issue).
