Kings Speedway and Tulare Thunderbowl Set to Host IMCA West Coast Super Stocks

SANTA MARIA, Calif - IMCA West Coast Super Stocks are set to invade the Central Valley for two nights of racing. Hanford’s Kings Speedway will be in action on Friday, September 20th and Tulare’s Thunderbowl Raceway the following night, September 21st. Both events will match the IMCA Modified payout, paying $600 to win and $60 to start.

IMCA West Coast Super Stocks appeared at Kings Speedway earlier this season however it will be their first trip to Thunderbowl Raceway.

“We really want to support the IMCA West Coast Super Stocks and help the division grow into the successful division we know it can be,” stated Kings Speedway promoter Scott Woodhouse. “We are in total support of what IMCA and Chris Kearns are trying to build. This is a great division and puts on a quality show. We hope we can get support for this event so we can pursue a schedule with the West Coast Super Stocks next season.”

Both nights will be IMCA regional points races. Tafferas Jewelers out of Bakersfield has come on board as a sponsor providing the Regional Champion with a custom made Champions watch.
