Maybe in 2015 they could get a West Coast Late Model race.  Put up a large enough payout and people will come from Bakersfield and drag down a couple crates from Antioch and Chico, as well as the cars that follow the series from the south west.  Maybe the Pettits would be willing to put up a large payout for the LMs and have it as an undercard the Modifieds during the Pettit Shootout replacing the 4-Bangers for the weekend... Talk to John Prentice and Jim Pettit and get them excited about it!!!  Heck, John might race again then...
