PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY RAINED OUT!

PERRIS, CA (February 28) - Due to the rain the track received overnight and the forecast of additional rain through Sunday morning Perris  Auto Speedway has canceled the PASSCAR Season Opener that was scheduled for this Saturday, March 1st. The PASSCAR Season Opener will now be on April 5th.

The PASSCAR "Champions Night" will be moved to November 15th, with a rain date of November 22nd if needed. The October 25th event will be the final qualifying main event for the PASSCAR Pursuit. With this schedule change all the PASSCAR divisions will run the same number of events in 2014 as previously scheduled. The PASSCAR Pursuit for all divisions will begin on April 5th and the field of Drivers will be locked in after the May 17th event. The PAS has chosen to extend the season into November in order to give the race teams plenty of notice so they can plan accordingly.

The USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, PAS Senior Sprints, PAS Young Gun Sprints and the California Lightning Sprint Cars will now kick off the tracks 19th season of action at the Annual Sokola Shootout on March 15th.
